Boudh, Sept 9: In a shocking incident, three minor sibling sisters died and their father was critically ailed after being bitten by a poisonous snake in their house in a village in Odisha's Boudh district on Sunday night. 

According to information, the heartwrenching incident occurred in Chiriapalli village of Baghiapada gram panchayat under Boudh district. Sailendra Mallik and her minor daughters were sleeping in their house when a snake bit them. 

Family members and some villagers rushed the four to a village quack for treatment. However, their condition deteriorated. They were then taken to the Boudh hospital where doctors declared the minor girls dead. Shailendra was still undergoing treatment. 

The incident has sent a shockwave among the villagers.
