22 Police Personnel From Odisha To Be Honoured On Independence Day

Bhubaneswar, Aug 14: In recognition of exemplary service and acts of bravery, a total of 22 police personnel from Odisha will be awarded on Independence Day.
According to an official release from the Ministry of Home Affairs- 9 officers will receive the Medal for Gallantry (GM) for their courageous actions in the line of duty, 2 officers have been selected for the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM), and 11 officers will be awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) for consistently demonstrating professionalism and commitment to public safety.
