Jagatsinghpur, Jul 10: A shocking incident unfolded in Jahanpur under Jagatsinghpur police limits where a 21-year-old youth was allegedly murdered by his uncle in a brutal attack early Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the victim identified as, Suman Das, was brushing his teeth outside his home. Meanwhile, his uncle Sanjaya allegedly struck him from behind using a spade, resulting in instant death at the scene.

On being informed, police rushed to the scene upon and detained Sanjay, who is currently being interrogated. Later, the body was seized and sent to Jagatsinghpur District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem examination.

However, the motive behind the attack remains unclear, and police are continuing their investigation.
