Bhubaneswar, Mar 15: Two persons were killed in two separate clashes that occurred in Bhubaneswar over Holi color exchanges on Saturday.

While one incident occurred in the Shanti Palli slum under the Saheed Nagar police station area, another happened at Sameigadia under the Mancheswar police station limits.

In the Shanti Palli slum, a youth was reportedly stabbed to death after a quarrel ensued between him and four others. Police Commissioner S Debadatta Singh went to the slum and started an investigation.

The Police Commissioner said the accused has been identified and, thus, will be arrested soon. He said a past rivalry led to the murder in the slum.

In the Sameigadia incident, the police have also identified two accused persons. The incident occurred just 500 metres from the police station, said family members of the deceased. The deceased persons were married.
