Koraput, Jan 13: In a shocking incident, two people were killed and another person sustained critical injuries as two motorcycles on which they were travelling collided head-on the Jalapur-Patraput main road in Koraput district this evening.
The deceased persons have been identified as Dhania Khara and Manika Khemundu of Khamara village under Nandapur block in the district. The injured, identified as Rabindra Khara of Palamgram of Lamtaput block, is undergoing treatment at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Lamtaput.
According to the informaiton, the motorcycles were moving on high speed whey they collided head-on. As a result, two of the riders died on the spot and another was critically injured. The two motorcycles have been damaged fully.
