Bhubaneswar, Mar 11: The Economic Offence Wing of the State Crime Branch has arrested two persons, including an IDBI Branch Manager, on the charge of misappropriating Fani aid of Rs 3.70 crore.
The arrested two persons have been identified as IDBI, Dandamukundapur's former Branch Manager Sarojkant Mohapatra and his associate Angel Mishra. Earlier, the EOW had arrested the bank's Assistant Officer Tanmaya
Maharana. Angel was arrested because the misappropriated amount had been transferred to her bank account.
The arrested persons will be court-forwarded and then brought in remand, said the EOW SP.
