Berhampur, Feb 17: Police arrested two persons on the charge of illegally cooking and preparing country Mahuli liquor tribal-dominated Badapali gram panchayat in Khallikote area in Ganjam district two days back.  

After arrest, they were forwarded to court also. 

The arrestees have been identified as Duryodhan Sabar and Bulu Sabar of Kamar Singh village. 

In protest, over a hundred tribals carrying their traditional weapons gheraoed the Khallikote police station. They demanded that tribals, who are engaged in cooking Mahuli liquor, should not be harassed.
