Malkangiri, July 27: As many as 18 villages in the Bayapada Ghati area under the Korukonda block in Malkangiri district have been cut off the outer land due to a landslide that occurred due to continuous rain.  

Vehicular movement has been completely halted, and hundreds of villagers have been stranded in their regions. 

According to the information, the landslide occurred at Tumba Padar on the Bayapada ghati under Nakamamudi gram panchayat. 
With no options left to go outside, villagers have constructed a wooden bridge and are moving on it in a precarious condition.
