Subhadra money will be credited to bank accounts of the left-out eligible beneficiaries on April 22, said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday.

Bhubaneswar, Apr 7: Subhadra money will be credited to bank accounts of the left-out eligible beneficiaries on April 22, said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday.

By March 31, the State government received 1.70 lakh more applications for Subhadra scheme. A district-wise survey will be undertaken to find eligible beneficiaries out of the applicants. Subhadra money will be disbursed to them by April 22 and 23," said Parida.

Parida, who holds the Women and Chief Developoment portfolio, said rejected applications (1 lakh earlier and those who will be found ineligible from 1.70 lakh applications) will be surveyed. The survey will be conducted at door step from April 14. Eligible ones will get Subhadra Money by this month-end," said Parida.

Parida said all issues would be sorted out so that the third installment would be disbursed to all eligible women smoothly.

"New applications will not be received as the number of beneficiaries has crossed 1-crore mark. But after the disbursal of the third installment, applications will be received from those who would have entered 21 years of age, said Parida.

Stating that some beneficiaries were delinked from the Subhadra portal after the first installment, Parida said, "I met some beneficiaries who received 1st installment but didn't get the second one. It happened to them because they filed IT returns of above Rs 5 lakh to take loans. A process has already been started to establish eligibility and ensure that no poor woman is excluded from the scheme," said Parida.
