Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: At least 10 members of a marriage party were injured, two of them critically, after the bus they were travelling in hit a truck from the rear near Karanjia in Mayurbhanj late on Friday night.
As per reports, the marriage party bus was en route to Jajpur from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand carrying around 40 passengers. On the way, the bus rear-ended a stationary truck near Tata on National Highway 220.
Following the mishap, the injured were rushed to Karanjia hospital for treatment.
While the exact reason behind the accident is still unclear, the police have seized the vehicles and a probe has been launched into the matter.

✨In another accident, seven persons were injured after a Bolero hit a stationary truck from behind at Dahisara Chhak near Balasore’s Soro in the wee hours of Saturday.
As per reports, the Bolero was going towards Balasore from Cuttack when the mishap happened.
The injured were initially admitted to Soro Hospital but later shifted to Balasore DHH after their health condition deteriorated.
