Bhadrak, Dec 14: Property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed and around 15 shops and 2 godowns were gutted after a fire broke out at Padmanabha Das Complex in Rathapada under Basudevpur block in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on late Wednesday night.
The burnt establishments include eatery, stationery store, shoe shop and vegetable shop etc.
On being informed, the fire department personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flame. By that time, property worth lakhs of rupees was reduced to ashes.
