Rajnagar, Apr 28: A 13-year-old boy was killed after being stuck by lightning in Shikarpahi village of Rajnagar block of Kendrapara district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Vishwajit Das.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the minor was playing outside of his house. Meanwhile, he met with the fate.

Following the incident, a pall of gloom descended in the village.

This heartbreaking event is part of a series of lightning-related fatalities across the state, which has seen multiple deaths and injuries recently.
