Khordha: 11-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Village Pond 

Khordha, Mar 2: A Class VII student died after drowning in a pond near Rajsunakhala in Khurdha district on Saturday. 

According to the information, Satyajit Behera (11) after returning from school went alongwith his friends to the Patani pond near the Rajasunakhala market to take bath.

While bathing his foot slipped and he drowned in the pond. His friends called the residents and his family members for help. 

After being rescued, Satyajit was rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) but doctors declared him dead. 

This news has sent a pall of gloom among the villagers.
