Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: The 10th board exam is all set to begin Friday and Nityananda Gond, Minister of School & Mass Education has wished the students for good luck and success.

Speaking about the preparations, Gond, who is also the Minister of ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare, said that all the necessary steps have been taken for the exam.

As per the report, there will be a total of 3,029 exam centres and as many as 5,12,437 students will sit in the exams. There are 314 nodal centres.

Security has been tightened. Many officials, from nodal officers to flying squads, have been appointed. Central and district level observers will be in charge.

Nityananda Gond said that the emphasis is being given by the department so that there will be no exception in the examination.
