Koraput, Nov 7: The special team of Semiliguda police seized 109 kg of ganja and two cars in the Dudhari area in Koraput district late on Monday. 

According to the information, the Similiguda police received a tip-off regarding the increasing smuggling of ganja in the area. The police appointed a special team to nab the smugglers. 

The special waited at the tipped-off spot to catch the smugglers red-handed.  Later, two suspected cars arrived on the spot. Before the special team could catch them, the smugglers fled from the spot abandoning the cars.

The special team conducted searches on the cars and recovered 109kg of ganja from it. The police have seized the ganja, cars and initaited a probe to nab the smugglers who are still at large.
