Bhubaneswar: To keep an eye on anti-socials in the capital city, the Commissionerate Police has decided to install more Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled camera surveillance at the key points of the city.
According to the decision taken by the Commissionerate Police, the AI-based cameras will be installed at key points like the market areas, traffic posts in the first phase. Around 1000 cameras have already been set up in the smart city. For the installation of such more cameras, the Commissionerate Police will write to the State Government.
Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police has notified the apartment and bank authoritities. Soon the apartment and bank control rooms will also be linked with police control room, said the Commissionerate Police.
