Angul, Aug 2: At least 10 personnel of OSAP 2nd Battalion sustained injuries after the private van they were travelling in collided with a truck from behind near Jarapada on National Highway 55 in Angul.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday night, around 3:30 am, when the jawans were en route from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile, the van collided with a stationary truck that had broken down on the highway.

Following the incident, 10 army personnel sustained injuries, with 7 reported to be in critical condition.

They were immediately rescued and rushed to nearby hospital.

Police have registered a case and initiated a probe into the incident.
