Jharsuguda, Aug 6: One died and seven others were in critical conditions in an poisonous gas leak incident in a metal factory on Saturday in Jharsuguda district.
The deceased have been identified as Varun Pradhan.
According to the reports, Around 2 PM there was a sudden leakage of poisonous gas in the factory. The workers complained of breathlessness and became critically ill.
While one worker died on spot, other Seven Critical person were taken to nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment.
