Angul, Jan 26: In a tragic mishap, one person was killed and 10 others sustained critical injuries as a government bus, in which they were travelling, met an accident at Gaham village under Samal police station limits in Angul district on Sunday afternoon.
More than 40 passengers miraculously escaped unhurt. According to the information, more than 50 people were traveling by OSRTC bus when the mishap occurred. A passenger died after being pressed under the bus.
Locals rescued passengers and rushed them to government hospitals at Godibandah and Mandhapala with the help of two ambulances.
