Odisha Parba 2026 will bring Odia art, culture, cuisine and heritage to Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from March 13–15.

New Delhi, Mar 10: The national capital will witness a grand celebration of Odia art, culture, history and heritage as Odisha Parba 2026 is set to be organised at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from March 13 to 15, officials said on Tuesday.

The three‑day festival, hosted by Odia Samaj, a leading socio‑cultural organisation in Delhi, will bring together lakhs of Odias and showcase the state’s rich traditions to the wider nation.

The festival is being supported by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who has played a key role in promoting Odisha’s cultural identity at the national level. His efforts have drawn praise from President Droupadi Murmu. Several eminent personalities from Odisha are expected to attend the event.

Odisha Parba will feature a vibrant mix of folk dances, tribal performances and contemporary music. Traditional art forms such as Bagha Nacha, Ghoda Nacha, Ranapa, and tribal dances like Kedu and Durua will be presented on a single stage. Renowned Odia singers and dancers will enthrall audiences with evening performances, turning Delhi’s atmosphere festive and colourful.

Visitors will also enjoy authentic Odia cuisine, ranging from traditional sweets and pithas to popular delicacies such as Cuttack’s dahibara aloo dum and Baripada’s mudhi mansa. Both vegetarian and non‑vegetarian dishes will be available across stalls. Alongside food, stalls will display Odisha’s famed handicrafts and handlooms, including Kendujhar’s avhanga kandhei, Puri’s pattachitra, Koraput’s Kotpad sarees and Sambalpuri textiles.

The organisers said the festival aims to provide a platform for Odias living outside the state to reconnect with their roots, while also introducing the diversity of Odisha’s culture to people across India. With cultural programmes, exhibitions and food fairs, Odisha Parba 2026 promises to be a unique confluence of tradition and modernity.
