Bhubaneswar, June 11: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday emphasized the role of Yuva Sangam in bringing India’s youth closer to the country’s diverse culture, heritage, and shared values.
In a series of tweets, Pradhan described the initiative as a celebration of the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes experiential learning and cultural exchange.
Experiential Learning Through Yuva Sangam
Pradhan interacted with participants from Chhattisgarh and Delhi under Yuva Sangam Phase 6. He noted that visits to historical sites, cultural landmarks, and different regions had given young participants a deeper understanding of India’s diversity and unity. “Through experiential learning, our youth are living the spirit of NEP 2020 beyond books,” he said.
Cultural Showcase
The Minister highlighted a cultural programme based on Chhattisgarh’s rich traditions, which he said beautifully reflected the theme of “unity in diversity.” Such events, he added, demonstrate how Yuva Sangam is strengthening the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat vision by connecting young people across states.
