Bhubaneswar: Time ticking fast. The countdown of the “Bengal Showdown” has reached its final hours. By mid-day tomorrow, the haze over “Who in Bengal” question will lift, revealing who will claim the power seat of this politically pivotal eastern state.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in a virtual briefing to her party’s booth agents and workers on Sunday, projected an aura of absolute victory, claiming the Trinamool Congress (TC) will romp home with over 200 seats.

The counting on Monday will be taken up in 293 seats, as the ECI Saturday has ordered for a repoll in Falta Assembly constituency under Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha represented by Abhisekh Banerjee, on May 20.
