The Minister emphasized that many states have adopted the national curriculum framework and are aligning their educational systems with NEP guidelines. A notable shift towards play-based and joyful learning has been observed, especially in foundational stages, reflecting NEP’s emphasis on holistic and child-centric education.
The NEP, launched in 2020, aims to transform India’s education landscape by promoting experiential learning, reducing rote methods, and integrating vocational and digital literacy from early stages. The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that every child receives quality education rooted in Indian values and global competencies.
