Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Joins ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2025’ Cleanliness Drive

New Delhi, Sep 25: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan participated in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2025’ campaign, contributing to a cleanliness drive as part of the nationwide initiative.


Senior officers of the department of higher education also joined the nationwide "Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath" campaign.


The campaign, which began on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday, promotes the spirit of service through the theme “One Day, One Hour, One Together.”

As part of this initiative, Minister Pradhan joined hands with volunteers and students at the Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College campus in New Delhi. He dedicated one hour to shramdaan (voluntary labour), emphasising the importance of cleanliness and civic responsibility.

The 15-day campaign aims to mobilise millions across the nation in a collective call to action for high-impact swachhata drives. Launched jointly by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, SHS 2025 focuses on bringing together citizens, communities, and institutions to drive visible cleanliness on the ground, with a focus on Cleanliness Target Units-dark, dirty, and neglected spots.
