New Delhi, July 29: Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized opposition MPs for creating chaos during Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar’s speech in the Lok Sabha. He said their actions harmed India’s reputation at a time when Jaishankar was discussing key foreign policy matters.
Shah said the opposition trusts foreign opinions more than India’s own minister. This attitude could keep them out of power for several years, Shah added.
“The opposition doesn’t want to listen or ask questions. They only want to make noise,” Shah said.
The disturbance has sparked fresh debate about the behavior of MPs during serious discussions in Parliament. Despite the uproar, the session continued.
