Bhubaneswar, May 8: Three jawans were killed when a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Maoists went off near the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border region today.

According to reports, the explosion occurred near Peruru and Wajedu police station areas in the Mulugu district, triggering an immediate response from security forces.

Reports indicate that gunfire exchanges are ongoing at the blast site, as authorities assess the situation and attempt to secure the area.
