Vijayawada/Amravati, Jun 20: The 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2026) will be celebrated on Sunday, June 21, with grand programmes across India and the world. As part of the global celebrations, a mass yoga event is scheduled tomorrow on the banks of the Krishna River at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Labbipet, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

Leaders and Guests

Yoga guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishan will lead the mass yoga session, while Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be the chief guest. The event is expected to witness participation from thousands of practitioners, dignitaries, and citizens, making it one of the largest yoga gatherings in the country.

Internationally, millions are expected to join yoga sessions in parks, community centres, and online platforms. The programme from Vijayawada will be broadcast live on leading news channels and streamed on Facebook and YouTube, ensuring global outreach.
