New Delhi, Jan 27: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan has written to the Chief Ministers and governors of states and Lt Governors of UTs urging them to join the televised event of Pariksha Pe Charcha on January 29 in the presence of students, parents and teachers, officials said on Saturday.
In his letter, Pradhan said, " I am delighted to inform that about 2.26 crore students, teachers and parents have registered for PPC- 2024 (Students- 2,05,62,376, Teachers- 14,92,250 and Parents- 5,69,468) as compared to about 38.80 lakh in PPC- 2023. This massive increase is primarily due to large participation of students and teachers registered with the State Boards, clearly indicating the growing popularity of this unique initiative of the Hon'ble Prime Minister."
The event will be telecast live on Doordarshan and through various private channels, he said.

✨"Let us join hands in celebrating the Utsav of examinations- Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 in order to bring joy in learning for India's future nation builders," Pradhan concluded.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is a programme where students, parents, and teachers from across the nation and also from overseas interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss anxieties related to examinations and life after school.
