New Delhi, Aug 8: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Global CEO of YouTube, Neal Mohan here on Thursday and discussed various ways to improve digital infrastructure and leveraging technology for advancing quality education to all in the country.

In a post on X, the Minister said he and Neal Mohan had meaningful conversations on ways YouTube can work with the education ecosystem for dissemination of quality content, supplementing the learning experience and paving the way for continuous and on-demand learning in the country.

Digital resources and extensive use of technology is a key element of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for increasing access to education and improving learning outcomes, Pradhan said.

The Minister and the Youtube CEO also shared insights on the trends in content creation and consumption as well as size and potential of India’s creator economy.

Odisha's Electronic and Information Technology Minister, Mukesh Mahaling was also present in the meeting.
