The initiative, spearheaded by the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, aims to bring transformative changes to the agricultural sector across India, including Odisha. With over 2,000 scientific teams engaging directly with more than 1.5 crore farmers across 700 districts, the campaign will provide crucial insights into new farming technologies and government schemes.

Sambalpur, known for its thriving agricultural community, has immense potential for growth. The region already exports mangoes internationally, and future plans include expanding irrigation facilities and boosting production in horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, dairy farming, and allied sectors.
