Lucknow, Jan 4: PM SHRI School will play an important role in bringing new trends in school education, Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan said on the occasion of launching PM SHRI School in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.

Congratulating the UP people on the occasion, the Union Minister said that 928 schools and 81 Central schools and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, selected by the UP government, have been developed into PM SHRI School.  The provision of good and modern infrastructure and world-class education in schools is the prime agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government, Pradhan said. 

UP's leading role in implementing PM SHRI School is commendable. Be it the new national education policy or the Ujjwala Yojana, Uttar Pradesh is an example of implementing Prime Minister Modi's policies. This is increasing the confidence of the entire country, Pradhan contended. 

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the 500-year wait has come to an end. The dream of Bhavya Ram Temple is coming true in the holy Ayodhya Dham. Today, Ayodhya is the center of development and prosperity in India.

While calling on UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow, the Union Minister discussed the importance of further strengthening the education system in the State, increasing the capacity of teachers and educational institutions, promoting research, and establishing UP as a Center of knowledge-based economy.
