Bhubaneswar, June 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Odisha, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, is celebrating its first anniversary in office, highlighting a year marked by development, service, transparency, and welfare-driven governance.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance, Pradhan said the state government reaffirmed its dedication to inclusive development based on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. The administration emphasized its commitment to delivering on election promises, strengthening infrastructure, and reaching the remotest corners with impactful schemes.
Among the flagship initiatives, the “Subhadra Yojana” aims to empower over one crore women across the state, while the “Samruddha Krushak Yojana” has increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy by ₹800 per quintal. During the 2024–25 kharif season, over 73.46 lakh metric tons of paddy were procured from 16.6 lakh farmers, ensuring economic support at the grassroots.

✨In the health sector, the launch of Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY promises expanded medical coverage, and on the education front, the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 is underway, with skill development programs for youth and 11.25% higher education reservation for SEBC students.
The government underscored its mission to create a prosperous and developed Odisha through transparent governance, robust infrastructure projects such as roads, railways, and air connectivity, and strategic empowerment of farmers, youth, and marginalized communities.
