Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: An Odia jawan reportedly martyred in Tripura's Agartala on Friday, officials said.

The martyred jawan has been identified as Iswar Chandra Dora,  a resident of Belakhandi under Kesinga police limits in Odisha's Kalahandi district.

According to sources, Dora was a jawan of 42nd battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) and stationed at Lankamura Border Outpost (BOP).

The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation and authorities are working to piece together the events leading up to the incident, police sources said.
