New Delhi, Sep 4: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has released the 10th edition of NIRF Ranking 2025 at a special event at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

Then comes the Indian Institute of Sciences Bangalore.

According to the release, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has bagged the top spot in 'overall' category, while the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has once again secured the top spot in the universities list.

The IISc university was followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Millia Islamia, and Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

IIT-Madras has once again secured the top position as the best engineering college in India and continues to lead in the overall category.

This year’s rankings was released across 17 categories, including overall, universities, colleges, research institutions, engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, dental, law, architecture and planning, agriculture and allied sectors, open universities, skill universities, and state public universities.
