West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced the withdrawal of the word “Dham” from the Jagannath Temple at Digha, Purba Medinipur. The move follows Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi’s request, stressing that “Jagannath Dham” is traditionally and exclusively associated with Puri’s sacred shrine.
