Jail Sentence For Accused
In a significant judgment, the Mayurbhanj Fast-Track Court has sentenced two accused to five years of imprisonment along with a fine of ₹5 lakh each in connection with a 2021 case involving immoral relations with a minor and the circulation of her obscene photos and videos. The court, ruled that failure to pay the fine would result in an additional two years of imprisonment.
