An Odisha Civil Services aspirant was caught cheating during the preliminary exam at a private engineering college in the CDA area. The accused candidate allegedly concealed a mobile phone and earphone in his undergarments. Vigilance squad intercepted him, leading to the arrest of four persons.

The Bhubaneswar Met Centre has issued an Orange Warning for several places in Odisha, forecasting thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds up to 60 kmph in districts including Balasore, Cuttack, Puri, and Mayurbhanj over the next 24 hours.
