Rs 11,000 Cr Projects Unveiled
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two major highway projects -- the Delhi sections of the Urban Extension Road-II and the Dwarka Expressway. These projects represent an investment of over Rs 11,000 crore and are expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the national capital and improve connectivity across the National Capital Region.

Shubhanshu Shukla Returns India
Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla returned to India and is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi before heading to his hometown, Lucknow. Shukla will return to Delhi to participate in the National Space Day celebrations on August 22 to 23.

Odia CISF Jawan Dies
Odia CISF jawan, Manoj Biswal, lost his life in the recent landslide triggered by a cloudburst in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. The incident occurred while Manoj was on temple duty at the Machail Mata shrine near Chisuti village.

A low-pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and is expected to intensify into a well-marked zone over the next 24 hours. Under its influence, several districts will witness heavy rainfall.
