Mumbai, Jul 22: A deeply disturbing video of a Pitbull attacking a minor boy has shook the citizens, showing barbarity of the dog and his owner named Sohail Khan.
The incident occurred on July 17 in Mumbai, where a Pitbull dog owner Sohail Khan was seen deliberately releasing his dog on a minor boy playing in an auto rickshaw parked in a residential area.
According to reports, the victim along with some of his friends was playing in an auto rickshaw parked in a residential area. During this, they noticed the Pitbull. Meanwhile, one of them asked Sohail (the accused dog owner) where he was going with the Pitbull. To which, Sohail released his dog, who ran towards them. While everyone escape, the victim got trapped and eventually the dog bit the boy.
Khan allegedly set his pet dog loose on the minor without any provocation.
It has came to fore that the accused, Mohammad Sohail Khan is an acquaintance from the same locality.
The dog attacked the minor boy, biting him on the chin and hands, causing serious injuries.
A video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation.
Reportedly, a case has been registered under sections 291, 125, 125(a) of IPC (BNS) at Mankhurd Police Station, and a notice has been served to the accused under Section 35(3) of BNS, according to the Mumbai Police.
