Bhubaneswar, Jan 13: Odisha will have another milestone in its health sector as the initiatives to implement Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri- Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY)will be formally taken today.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be inked between the Centre and Odisha government in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Health Minister JP Nadda in New Delhi Today.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram will also be present at the MoU signing venue at Bigyan Bhawan.

✨Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling has said that the Ayushman Bharat Yojana will be implemented in the state from February next year.
The Ayushman Bharat Yojana will be implemented in the state along with the Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana. This will benefit about 1 crore families comprising 3.5 crore beneficiaries in the State. Beneficiaries will get free health insurance under the Centrally sponsored scheme, said the Minister.
