Bhubaneswar/Vrindaban, Mar 18: Jam-packed cities like Mathura and Vrindavan in India are well known for "monkey infestation." These notorious anthropoids are famous for snatching personal stuffs from visitors generally demanding some kind of bribery, especially food items, in exchange of the stolen items.
Such an incident came to light after a video went viral where a monkey can be seen asking for a food item in exchange of a mobile phone.
After snatching off a lavish Samsung S25 Ultra handset, the primate bartered it for a tetra pack of mango drink leaving onlookers astonished. The video definitely grabbed the attention of netizens.
The monkey, in the video posted on Instagram with the title reading "Samsung S25 Ultra le gaya Vrindavan ka bandar," can be seen sitting on the balcony of a vintage house having the costly mobile phone in hand. Three men underneath are impatiently trying to get the phone back bargaining with a few packets of Frooti. The visuals in itself is a treat to watch, not only for the onlookers but also for the netizens.
However, it seems like the monkey was not interested with the offering and remain unmoved. One of the men then threw the drink towards the monkey, who grabbed it and in return, the monkey willfully dropped the mobile marking an end to a tense-but-entertaining event.
