Bhubaneswar/Pahalgam, Apr 29: New evidence has surfaced regarding the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, as Gujarat-based tourist Rishi Bhatt revealed a disturbing sequence of events moments before gunfire erupted.

Bhatt, who was using a zipline at Baisaran meadow, claimed that the operator chanted "Allahu Akbar" thrice before the firing began. The 53-second video captured on his camera provides crucial visual proof of the massacre, showing armed attackers raining bullets on innocent tourists below.

According to Bhatt, nine other tourists had used the zipline before him without issue. However, he noted that the operator chanted the phrase only before his turn, and immediately, gunmen opened fire, creating chaos. Bhatt managed to detach from the zipline and hide with his wife and son, narrowly escaping the attack.

Authorities, including the National Investigation Agency (NIA), have intensified their search operations in forests and mountainous regions to hunt down the perpetrators.

Investigators are closely analyzing the role of the zipline operator, questioning witnesses, and reconstructing the crime scene to uncover any hidden links.

Meanwhile, the Indian government has responded aggressively, announcing strong security measures and enhanced counterterrorism strategies. Officials are also reviewing visas of Pakistani citizens, with potential diplomatic repercussions in light of cross-border tensions.
