Bhubaneswar, Apr 3: An unusual yet heartwarming tale has emerged from Domkal in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, where Nawab Sheikh, inspired by his lover's whimsical desire, created a rolling cot—a movable bed decorated with finesse, including pillows, sheets, and cushions.

What began as an act of love has taken the streets by storm, attracting curious onlookers, causing traffic jams, and challenging police to maintain order.

This extraordinary journey began one moonlit evening by the Bhairab River. Nawab and his girlfriend were enjoying the serene atmosphere when she joked about wanting to sleep on a cot under the stars.

Taking it as a personal challenge, Nawab returned home and designed the unique cot over two years, equipping it with an 800cc engine and even steering controls for mobility.

As the "rolling cot" cruised through Murshidabad's streets, from Raninagar to Sheikhpara, throngs of people stopped to capture videos for social media, turning the prototype into a viral sensation.

However, the excitement was short-lived as local authorities intervened due to safety concerns and increasing crowds, compelling Nawab to return the cot home.

Despite the police's involvement, Nawab remains proud of his creation, referring to it as a prototype with plans for further enhancements. What began as a romantic gesture has not only captured hearts but also ignited imaginations—proof that love and creativity know no bounds.
