New Delhi, Oct 13: The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission, will launch the much-anticipated Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 on Monday.

The event has sparked unprecedented enthusiasm among students across the country, with lakhs of participants from various states joining in to showcase their creativity and innovation.

Described as India’s largest student innovation initiative, the Buildathon aims to empower young minds from Classes 6 to 12 to contribute to the vision of a developed India. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who called it a “historic step” toward realizing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp, will inaugurate the event.

Students will work on projects and prototypes centred around themes such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local, Swadeshi, and Samriddh Bharat. The event is scheduled from 10 AM to 12 PM, during which students will present their innovative ideas and solutions to real-world challenges.

Adding to the excitement, Group Captain of the Indian Air Force and ISRO astronaut, Shubhanshu Shukla, who also serves as the brand ambassador for the Buildathon, will address the students and inspire them with his words of encouragement.

The initiative not only promotes innovation but also instils a sense of national pride and responsibility among the youth. It is expected to foster a culture of problem-solving, creativity, and entrepreneurship from an early age.

With participation from every corner of the country, Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 stands as a testament to the power of young minds in shaping the future of the nation.
