Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: Former Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan has been hospitalized again. He was first admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was likely to be airlifted to Hyderabad for further treatment.

Notably, Harichandan was hospitalized a few months back. Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, who is the son of the former Governor, informed the media about Harichandan's hospitalization.

Bishwabhushan Harichandan, a senior leader of the BJP, was appointed as the 23rd governor of Andhra Pradesh. Later he was also appointed governor of Chhattisgarh in 2023.
