Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: Officials and members of Election Commission will commence a three day visit to Odisha from today to review poll preparedness ahead of the general elections 2024.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Arun Goel, Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Dharmender Sharma, Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Nitesh Kumar Vyas and other 8 members to Visit Odisha.

According to the Information, EC team will review poll preparedness with district collectors,and superintendents of police, senior state govt officers, DGP, chief secretary and other stakeholders.

On Feb 16, The Election Commission team  is scheduled to hold discussions with national and state recognised political parties, DEOs, SPs, CPs and IG of Divisional Commissioners.

Likewise on Feb 17, The Election Commission team  will hold discussions with the State Chief Electoral Officer, State Police Nodal Officer, CPF Nodal Officer, Chief Secretary and DGP.
