New Delhi, Apr 10: The Diabetes India team met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Tuesday.  

The team comprising Diabetes India national president Dr SR Arvind from Bengaluru, secretary Dr Banshi Saboo from Ahmedabad, convener Prof Jayant Panda from Cuttack, chief advisor Padma Shri Prof Sasank Joshi from Mumbai, coordinator Dr Brij Makkar and joint secretary Dr Amit Gupta from New Delhi met  President Murmu. 

Diabetes India, founded 25 years ago by Dr Shaukat Sadikot, is currently working globally for better diagnosis and treatment of people with diabetes and control of numbers of new patients and complications of heart kidney brain, and other systems in diabetes patients.
