Highlighting the BJP’s pledge, Dharmendra Pradhan noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are committed to restoring Bengal’s lost glory and building a self-reliant state.

“The youth of Bengal are eager for jobs and opportunities, and the BJP’s manifesto with startup incentives and employment generation schemes is designed to meet those aspirations,” stressed the Union Minister.

Dharmendra Pradhan also drew parallels with the past, stating that just as Bengalis once rejected the politics of fear under the Left, they are now prepared to do the same with the TMC. “The people want a government that delivers growth, not one that thrives on threats and corruption,” he added.

During his visit, the Union Education Minister offered prayers at the Jagannath Temple in Baranagar, wishing peace, prosperity, and happiness for all.

On Monday, he had also participated in a roadshow in Bankura district’s Taldangra constituency in support of BJP candidate Souvik Patra.

With campaigning intensifying ahead of the Assembly elections, BJP leaders are projecting confidence that Bengal is ready for change, while TMC continues to defend its governance record.
