New Delhi, Jun 10: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday offered prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic achievement of becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister.
Union Minister Pradhan sought blessings for PM Modi’s good health and long life, describing the milestone as a testament to the Prime Minister’s ceaseless dedication to public service and nation-building.
“Prime Minister Modi has devoted himself to the service of the nation. Through tireless efforts, he has worked for the welfare of the poor, women, youth, and farmers, while ensuring holistic development across the country,” said the Union Education Minister.

He highlighted PM Modi’s spiritual connection with Lord
Jagannath, recalling that the Prime Minister’s social journey began with
blessings from the Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad.

✨“Modi ji is a devoted follower of Mahaprabhu Jagannath. His social life was shaped by the Lord’s blessings, and he has never missed an opportunity to seek divine guidance whenever visiting Odisha,” the Union Minister added.
Dharmendra Pradhan emphasized that PM Modi’s leadership has brought transformative changes in governance, infrastructure, and national pride.
He expressed confidence that under PM Modi’s stewardship, India would continue progressing toward becoming a developed and prosperous nation by 2047.
On June 10, PM Modi surpassed Jawaharlal Nehru’s record with 4,399 continuous days in office, completing 12 years as Prime Minister. While Indira Gandhi served longer overall, her tenure was not continuous, making PM Modi the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to celebrate this milestone with a meeting at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, where leaders from across the country will congratulate Modi and discuss the alliance’s future roadmap.
