Sand-Art Animation In Puri
Marking Gandhi Jayanti, students Sonali Aluk and Rita Kabasi from the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute created a special sand-art animation in Puri in honour of Mahatma Gandhi.

The animation pays tribute to Gandhi as a symbol of truth, non-violence and peace and carries the message, "Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi Ji on Gandhi Jayanti."
The artwork also depicts the Dandi Yatra, also known as the Salt March or Salt Satyagraha, one of the major movements associated with Gandhi's role in India's freedom struggle.

Through the animation, the students have highlighted the historic march and its significance in India's independence movement.

Gandhi Jayanti is observed annually on October 2 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the foremost leaders of India's freedom movement.
